When's the last time you saw one of these beauties? Up for auction is a rare 64 Studebaker Daytona 2-Door Convertible. This sporty, V-8 powered brute is one of the best looking post-war Studebakers and features a cleanly chiseled, European influenced style, a performance version of the popular Lark. One of only 647 V-8's produced and one of the last cars to come out of the storied South Bend, Indiana plant. This chassis was also used as the basis for the Avanti sports coupe. The engine in this Daytona is the 259 cu V-8 with a 2-bbl. carburetor. Features the 3 speed Flightomatic transmission and power steering. The body color is Moonlight Silver with a gorgeous glove-soft red vinyl interior, deep-pile carpeted floors, and very comfortable, amply padded front bench seats.
