Vehicle Detail

You Are looking at one 1971 Original California DeMon, in B 7 Blue! This is an original Ca. "Claude Short Dodge", In Santa Monica CA.!!! A pretty Famous dealership that was right on Santa Monica Blvd. A Nice California car that built here in the Los Angeles Plant, sold here in CA. and stayed here its whole life. it retains its original Ca Blue plates and Original Dealership license plate frame! This car is Complete, But only partially restored. It could use a carb rebuild, But runs and drives pretty good. The Demon has been repainted once, in its original B7 Blue Paint. It would do ok at a local show, But not a concourse show. She looks real nice going down the road and always gets a thumbs up every time it goes out(Rarely)! Mild cam and headers make her roar to life! It appears to have all its original body panels, but It doesn't have its original engine. A different 340 was installed at one point and time But its original fender tag and door VIN decal is there, including its original manifest sheet!, showing all the options it came with! It appears to have been a pretty well loaded DeMon! See Pic. of Manifest sheet). Having Décor interior/exterior group, Moulding group, Disc brakes, Power brakes, Power steering, Deluxe steering wheel, A/C(we have all the brackets and hardware, exceptfor the compressor), Bucket seats, Center Console floor shift trans, Mirror left and right, Rally Suspension, Rally dash, Tachometer, Front and Rear Bumper Guards(missing rear), Rear arm rest with Ash Trays, Performance Side Stripe. The list goes on.. Fyi; The hood scoops appear to have been added at one point and time. The only bad things we see are; It does have a couple bubbles that are starting to show through the roof at two locations(see photos). The Floor pans, Rockers etc. Looks very nice and clean. We think only the center section of the trunk pan would need replacing, The Original radio works on and off. The dash/gages were All recently restored by Auto Instruments and the Original Rally Dash Chrome Cluster/bezels, was Restored by G-CAR. The upholstery appears to be original(front are nice, but the rear has a couple rips(see photos). The Head liner is great condition, what you may see is a Reflection from the chrome dome light! The sunvisors and overhead seatbelts/shoulder belts and brackets are nice as well. The Original Dealership brochure and owners manual are included as well Including an original matchbook from the Dealership. This was a pretty famous Dealership that lasted up til the late 90's(Feel free to look them up!). The Car is located here with us, in CA. And It holds a Clean and Clear Ca. title! The door, Dash vin plate and Fender tag are there and match to the manifest sheet. We love the car, but don't have the time and funds to go all out, Or you can drive it just how it is and have fun! A Really nice Muscle car being offered at a great by it now price! Or make us a "Reasonable" offer!
