It needs some stuff, and cant be sold on the lot as it is now. The car runs very well, no engine/trans issues, brakes, lights, etc, all work as they should. It has wind up windows and a manual top, they won't be a problem like the power ones are in these early VW's. Same with the trans...this is a straight 5 speed manual...Dont buy one of these with an automatic.!! The d/s front and rear fender show some rust, the paint overall is good, bumpers are faded a little. Tires need to be replaced at some point, especially if you plan to drive in winter weather. Top is ok, but has been repaired at the top seam already. NO RESERVE!!!! Whatever this brings at the end is what it sells for. Good Luck!! We are clearing our lot of old trade ins, etc. and this is one that would normally go toauction. It needs some stuff, and cant be sold on the lot as it is now. The car runs very well, no engine/trans issues, brakes, lights, etc, all work as they should.
It has wind up windows and a manual top, they won't be a problem like the power ones are in these early VW's. Same with the trans...this is a straight 5 speed manual...Dont buy one of these with an automatic.!!
