1975 Honda CB 550 F supersport, bike was purchased 4 years ago and recently title after completion, I purchased motorcycle 2011 as a not running project which turned out to be full on resto. Bike was completely torn down to frame every nut and bolt was cleaned and inspected. I either painted the chrome after thoroughly being sand blasted first then acid eched primed to have proper protection on bare metal. Bike has complete engine overhaul with as much OEM Honda parts that could be obtained, pistons, rings, timing chain, guides, tensioner/shoe, primarychain, headgasket, orings,valve seals. Cylinderhead was lapped and new seals installed, keepers were inspected for micro cracks none where found. Cylinders were deglazed before being installed, STD bore. Case was sealed with Honda bond red tube. Engine has been soda blaster and ceramic painted and new stainless cap head bolts use on engine. New bearings throughout bikes frame and wheels using Allballz sealed bearings. Rebuilt master and front caliper with new pads. rear shoes have also been replaced. New spockets front and rear STD tooth, New tires and tubes, New handle bars, clutch cable, new battery. Bike was painted 2014 Porsche blue 4 coats of clear which makes metallic flake look deep in sun light. Fuel tank is rust free. OEM exhaust header was pitted so it was fiberglassed wrapped and OEM muffler is rusted in spots but work fine, looks good. This bike needs some tuning yet sync the carbs and carbs need floats adjust , ignition timing needs tuning with carb sync, and needs airfilter in airbox filter was clogged and thrown out, Bike does run and drive which I put 1 mile on cycle and park but needs those items to run 100% I have just got bike together after 5 years of rebuilding, bike does need finishing. I have 150-200 hours into cycle and a very good bike for the money. This bike should run for another 40 years with the quality parts used in build. I have just sold my home with 2 car garage and moving into a condo with no storage so I have to sell in a month. I am a mastertech for an auto manufacture and have motorcycle tech certifications so build was done professionally.
