1972 Honda CT70 K1 - Mini Trail 70 3 Speed, Titled. Dual Purpose manufactured 8/71 This is a nice 1972 CT 70 K1 for sale. The top end has been rebuilt: New (std) piston, rings, rod and rod clips, valve and guides and valve seats and gaskets. I installed new hand grips, New Honda Gas cap, New Honda dimmer switch, new tires and tubes and brakes (front and rear) Honda seat cover, grab handle, drive chain, New (OEM) Muffler, New air filter, Honda Ignition switch. Installed a carburetor kit. New spark plug and a new battery. Frame # CT70 2000250. Motor # CT70E 2000291. Very low production numbers (250) (291). Conditions: The chrome fenders are in good shape with only a few small minor dings and some light scratches. The Ruby Red is original but with some small dings, dents and scrapes. The control cables are original. The charging system works fine. The head light / tail light works but the high beam is burnt out. The bike starts on the first kick and runs excellent, shifts through all gears and stops well. It has the original speedometer with 2604 miles showing. The speedometer is a little erratic at slower speeds. The seat pan has some small cracks in it not bad though. It has been driven less than 50 miles since the rebuild job three years ago. Summary: I'm the third owner of the CT 70. When I purchased the bike it ran fine but it's needed some repairs. It spent most of its life on a ranch that's why it has such low miles. I spent a lot of time and money on mechanical aspects of the bike, and not on the cosmetic repairs (paint). It was for my grand kids when they were camping. That didn't happen. The bike has clear title in my name and was licensed for the road at one time. The bike is sold "as is" and with no warranty implied. The bike can be picked up or inspected in Spokane, Washington.
