I'm parting with my rare collector Honda CT70H 4 Speed with a clutch that I restored a couple years ago. I don't really want to part with it but it just sits, covered up in the garage and it's time to pass it on to someone who will enjoy it and appreciate the attention it gets as much as I did. I bought this bike from the original owner with 3900 miles on it & it's been in California it's entire life. So, the rust inside the frame like 90% of the CT's had or have, was non existent on this one from the beginning. The restoration was professionally done with almost 100% OEM NOS parts. The only aftermarket parts on the bike are the new seat, rear shocks & brake cable. I have the originals if you want them. The only thing that was not done by myself is the paint. Its hard to match the original candy colors so instead of getting it done locally, I decided to send it off. The candy Emerald Green paint job was done by a man in Ohio that specializes in Honda 50 and Honda 70 paint & restorations and it came back beautiful! I've had these CT 70's throughout my life and this is my fourth and last restoration. This bike has been done correctly with no corners cut. The restoration was done complete to OEM specs including keeping all the stock bolts with the "8" stamped on them. The bike looks like it did sitting on the showroom floor in 1971. Almost everything is new... The front fork sliders, shocks,bushings, springs, bearings, cables, etc. You name it and it's been either been replaced with NOS or restored OEM. The numbers matching original engine has been completely rebuilt as well and has about 15 miles on it riding around the neighborhood. It also was 100% rebuilt. New clutch, shift forks, kick starter shaft, piston, ring, valves, valve seats, oil pump, bearings, muffler, carb rebuild, etc. It's a perfectly tuned engine done with all OEM Honda parts. The bike starts first or second kick every time. It runs perfect and shifts like new. Everything on the bike works as it should, including high & low beam instrument lamps, brake light, horn, etc. I haven't added up all the receipts because I'm a little scared to. I'm confident that I have way more invested just in parts & paint for this bike than I'll ever see in return. Not to mention the 100's of hours invested to make it perfect. Look closely at the pictures and they should speak for themselves. The bike comes with a clean California Title & License plate. The bike can be registered to legally ride on the roads or trails.
