Up for sale is a 1965 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. Vehicle Identification Number 5Y85Z151803. The car is finished in its original Ford Maroon exterior with white interior and top. The car has been freshly repainted last month with the body sanded to bare metal, primed with PPG primer and painted in a base coat/clear coat PPG paint. The interior is fresh and new with new seat covers front and back seats, new door panels, new carpet and new door sills. The exterior of the car has all new triple chrome show plated bumpers front and back and all new emblems throughout. The engine compartment has been freshly detailed with new belts, hoses and fluids. The car has new radial white wall tires with correct Thunderbird hubcaps which have been rechromed with show quality detail. All of the stainless trim on the car has been polished to a high luster and looks incredible. The car carries its original 390 cu in numbers matching engine and cruise o matic automatic transmission. The top is in terrific shape and has recently been replaced with all correct weatherstrip. When the car was painted, all trim, weatherstrip and emblems were removed and after painting was completed, all new weatherstrip, trim and emblems were re-installed on the car. The car has new correct stainless exhaust from the manifolds to the exhaust tips, including new x pipes, new resonators, new mufflers and new exhaust tips. The trunk has a new trunk liner and has a correct bias ply whitewall spare tire and correct tire cover. The car comes from the factory with the following options: Swing Away Steering Wheel, Rear Fender Shields, 4-way power driver seat, 390 cu in V8 engine, Cruise o matic automatic transmission, front disk brakes, am/fm radio, rear seat speaker, power windows. All of the glass is original and in excellent condition. The driver's side remote mirror is new old stock and has the correct mirror glass.
