1972 Triumph Daytona

1972 triumph T 100 R Daytona 500 95% original. Although it sounds cliche, this is a true 20 year old barn find. I was told that it was a running motorcycle before it was put away. I had plans to restore it but other projects keep getting in front of it. This bike is a numbers matching Daytona the only thing I can see that looks like it is not original is the gas tank and the conversion to a single carb setup other than that this bike is very original. Although the motor does not run it turns over freely with a 150 lbs of compression in the left cylinder I could not get a reading on the right cylinder. It would appear a valve is stuck in the open position on the right cylinder which is not bad considering its been sitting for 20 years. The wiring is intact the brakes and clutch are free and working. The transmission does shift through the gears. This bike is a perfect candidate for a stock restoration or a custom build due to the fact it has all of its parts. There is also a clean New Jersey title with this bike.
