Vehicle Detail
Selling my project Chevelle. 1D37H car - original 350 car. I've been working on it occasionally for about the last year. It has a new one piece trunk floor, front floors patched, new full left quarter, 80% right quarter, inner wheel house, blasted front fenders. It has new body bushings. Has 2" cowl hood. Tires are great, old school slots. Car was stripped and is in epoxy primer with very little filler in it - just some on weld seams. It was a vinyl top car - I cleaned, sanded, treated, and POR15 the roof and was going to put vinyl back on it. Motor is a 1996 Z28 LT1 that is very healthy - top end has new gaskets, new injectors. Tranny is a 4L60e that has less then 20k miles on it. Computer and wiring harness are from PSI. Engine and Tranny are mounted, headers are on, and it's wired up. It has a new fuel injection gas tank/pump/supply lines - LSx ready. I can fire it up so you can hear it run using temporary starter circuit wiring. Still needs cooling system and wiring finished how you want. It should be a great running/driving car capable of cruising at 70Mph while getting 20MPG!!! This is the metal work I think it still needs - everyone has different opinions, so review pics and ask. Needs front fender dog legs repaired. Right front fender needs small dents hammered out. Needs right rear lower deck filler patch - near rear window. Hood needs blasted and some repair on front edge - I think it's a real GM cowl hood, but not sure. Right quarter where it meets door sill needs small patch. Needs some clean up where full trunk pan meets inner wheel wells and other welded areas. I have a full bench seat white interior out of another A body. I also have a set of black/red bucket racing seats. Dash needs work. Was AC car - filled AC hole. Was planning on aftermarket HVAC. I have a floor shift column. It has a new manual steering box. Manual drum brakes. Left the manual steering and brakes to make the swap easier. It needs a drive shaft. I have all the glass except front windshield. Front wheel wells aren't on in pics, but I have them. Hood also isn't on in pics. I have front headlight sections. I don't have a grill. I have front and rear bumper - need re-chromed. Front end is on with a handful of bolts.
