Exceptionally clean 1987 Nissan BE-1 with 39,000 original miles. Reliable 1.0L inline 4cyl MA10S water cooled engine. Rare 5 speed manual transmission. It averages 50mpg and can achieve 75mpg under ideal conditions. Very easy car to drive both in the city or on the freeway. The 5 speed has a higher top speed and significantly lower rpm's than the automatic transmission variant (which I have also owned/driven). It is slightly smaller than a newer Mini Cooper in all dimensions. Service parts are found at domestic parts stores while others can be airmailed. Drivetrain components are shared with the more common Nissan Micra/March. The BE-1 is a serious eye catcher, has a very modern look/feel, and is fun to drive. It has not been a daily driver and has been stored inside. The BE-1's design was ahead of its time and is routinely mistaken for a new model when driven. Perfect inside and out. Non smoker, no pets, no smells. It has been fully serviced and is ready to drive. Second owner. Clean Washington title in my name.
