DON'T LET THE MILES CONCERN YOU BECAUSE THIS CAR HAS BEEN MECHANICALLY WELL MAINTAINED. THE "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT IS "ON", BUT WE HAVE NOT DIAGNOSED THE REASON. IT IS LIKELY A MINOR ISSUE BECAUSE THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES VERY GOOD.
A $385 PROCESSING FEE AND A SMALL (0.2%) TAX APPLY TO ALL SALES. PLEASE FACTOR THIS INTO YOUR MAXIMUM BID.
THE PAINT AND BODY LOOK GOOD. THERE ARE A FEW SCRATCHES/CHIPS HERE AND THERE, BUT OVERALL THE CAR LOOKS GOOD. THE ONLY NOTICEABLE PAINT BLEMISH IS WHERE THE REAR BUMPER HAS A LARGE SCRAPE ON THE RIGHT CORNER (SEE PIC BELOW). THERE IS A LONG CRACK IN THE WINDSHIELD (SEE PICS BELOW) AND A COUPLE STAR CRACKS, BUT IT STILL PASSED OUR VA STATE INSPECTION.
THE 2.0L-L4 ENGINE STARTS EASILY AND RUNS SMOOTH. THE ENGINE HAS GOOD POWER AND ACCELERATION. THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFTS THROUGH THE GEARS NICELY AND THIS CAR HAS NICE SOLID RIDE!
THE STEEL WHEELS AND HUBCAPS LOOK PRETTY GOOD. TWO ARE MISSING THE CENTER EMBLEM. THE FRONT TIRES HAVE ABOUT 70% TREAD REMAINING WHILE THE REAR TIRES HAVE ABOUT 40% TREAD REMAINING.
ALL ELECTRONIC FEATURES WORK ON THIS VOLKSWAGEN.
INSIDE, THIS JETTA GL LOOKS PRETTY GOOD. THE CLOTH SEATS LOOK GOOD OVERALL WITH ONLY A FEW STAINS. THE SEATS HAVE NICE STRETCHY-FITTED COVERS ON THEM TO PROTECT THEM. THE DASH AND CENTER CONSOLE LOOK GOOD. THE CARPET AND/OR FLOOR MATS ARE DIRTY, BUT COULD BE CLEANED. THE DOOR PANEL'S FABRIC INSERTS ARE LOOSE ON EACH PANEL AND THERE ARE SCRATCHES/CHIPS IN THE COATING ON THE HANDLES. THE HEADLINER IS LOOSE AND HANGING DOWN (SEE PICS BELOW). OVERALL, THE INTERIOR LOOKS PRETTY GOOD AND WITH A LITTLE CLEANING IT COULD LOOK GREAT.
