This is a chance of a life time!! If your into Originality, History, and owning something this rich in age with out it being molested, all taken apart, rat rodded and messed with. This is it! This vehicle was purchased from the original owner who had it on a farm in Iowa, NEVER registered it and only used it on his large acreage Farm. It had one repaint by it's original owner back in the seventies to it's original color and then put away into a barn for some 40 years. The second adult owner bought it from this original owner, titled and registered the vehicle for the first time in Plymouth Massachusetts after put much time and money into it. Some of the items are New gas tank, lines, brakes wheel cyl, and lines. brand new tires and split rims, all fluids and maintenance, rebuilt carb, etc.. everything to make it safe and road worthy.. all this work was done by a professional classic car restorer and with keeping originality in mind, have a folder with tons of receipts totaling thousands spent on the truck, including owners manuals and other documents. This truck has minimal surface rust as it was used, he had it for three years when he bought it with 17k original miles and then put about 3,000 more on it (about a 1000 per year) over the next three years. I purchased this vehicle with the intension in mind to restore it to the next level as it would be an easy project being already so close to excellent condition. It starts right up, runs smooth and shifts perfect, not sloppy at all, and runs out like a vehicle with only 20k miles... If I had to be critical with anything mechanically, the steering floats a little and one head lamp is out. other than that, I drive it all over the place and everyone gives me thumbs-up and it's a hit at the car shows. This vehicle can be driven as is and restore a little here and there as you go or bring it back to a full original resto and have a $50k vehicle, check out what they're getting for them minted out. Again recap: all original engine, trans (4spd on the floor), rear, and body panels, Vin/ data tag mounted on the glove box door, brand new tires/rims, brake all gone thru, much time and money already invested in new parts, tons of fun to drive idles perfect and performs excellent for a 1954 truck....
