A lovingly restored CB400F for sale. This bike is a show winner and turn key rider. Two mature owners from new, and always been in Raleigh, NC. The bike has always been cared for and well maintained regardless of cost. The first owner used the bike to tour around the local states. Always top gear and easy riding, the bike has had an easy life with both owners. Over the last 4 years I have been slowly restoring the bike to excellent condition. A huge amount of work and money has been invested into this bike and it's been worth it. As it stands now, it is in fantastic condition and runs very well.  The engine has been rebuilt with many parts replaced for new parts or reworked.  This includes the head, timing chain and complete tensioning system, pistons and rings, clutch … etc. The exhaust headers are original and in lovely shape and the muffler section is new. The carburetors have been rebuilt cleaned and tuned.  The electrics have been updated in many areas, The charging system has been replaced with a modern solid state unit. A modern high quality electronic ignition system has been added to replace the points, for reliability. It has a brand new battery. Everything works as it should. Suspension on the front and back, has been rebuild with new seals, oil, bushes etc. The swing arm pivot has a full length bush with a grease nipple added. It feels solid. The brakes have been rebuilt, with new pads and a new front hose. The seat has been professionally recovered with a nice shape to it, not the usual flat board. Recent Avon road rider tires have been fitted. The paint is all original and still deep in color.   To sum up, this bike has been very well kept with thousands spent on it over the last two years. All receipts have been filed as a history.
