I've owned this vehicle for several years, and kept it maintained regularly, it drives very well. It has nice passenger accommodation, and the interior is in OK condition with leathers seats and wood veneer trim..This is a wagon with 4 doors and rear tailgate with permanent 4 wheel drive, engine and transmission is in good condition and appears to work as normal it feels good.It has all the usual Merc luxuries such as leather seats, cruise control ,electric sunroof, dual zone climate control ( working) But due to its high mileage, Vermont weather and dirt roads several things are failing, and I'm moving on to a new vehicle.It's been very reliable, and is great work horse all year round.Tires are in part worn condition (winter tires with a good grip for mud or dirt)Alloy wheels are 3 years old and replaced the OEM wheels which were cracked on two ( available if you want them) The Main issue is that the brake lines are severely corroded , and leak brake fluid, although the vehicle starts and runs just fine and the brakes work as long ass the brake fluid is topped up, I would not consider it safe to drive away, as the brake fluid may leak/ pipe may fail and cause a brake failure. My usual service garage says that the front left subframe is rusted, and needs repairing.There are numerous areas of superficial rust, especially around the wheel arches, bottom of the doors.There multiple dings and dents in the bodywork. Would be great for someone who wants a project for someone with mechanic skills or garage owner. - Could be a nice car with a little work.Could be brought back to a very good spec with a little mechanical skill or a few $k invested. Alternatively , it could be good for parts , the engine/ drive train runs very well, and is still quiet and smooth. This would make a great cheap vehicle for the right person. Absolutely no warranty expressed or implied, this is an old high mileage vehicle in fair to poor condition, with all the faults described above.
