A extremely nice 1976 Buick Electra 225 Custom 2 Dr. hardtop coupe. It has only 51,006 miles on it and was purchased by me from the original owners estate. It just passed NJ state inspection and is licensed and insured so the mileage may go up as I will be driving it to cruise night. It was garage kept and is in great shape considering it is 39 years old. Bought new in New Hope PA. with the options of Landau custom top, Am-Fm stereo, Air conditioning, Three speed wipers, Tinted glass, Rear defogger, Bumper guards, Remote mirrors, Floor mats, Power locks, Custom body side moldings, Wide rocker moldings. The original sticker shows a price of $8,114.00. It has the 455 V8 that runs like new. There are new rear air shocks and new coil over front shocks. It has a new alternator and blower motor. The oil and filter along with the gas and air filters just changed. It has a newer battery, exhaust and rear springs. It has a trailer hitch installed and has a brake controller in the dash. The body is straight and solid with some paint chips and touch ups. There looks to have been some paint work done at some time. It looks great from ten feet but up close it shows its age. The pictures always makes then look better. The interior is in beautiful condition with no rips or tears except for a patch on the drivers door. The air conditioner is complete but does not work. The original hubcaps are it great condition and there is a matched set of whitewall radial tires. There are some small screws used to reattach the side molding but it is complete. The left rear quarter panel extension is cracked but there is a replacement included. There are two mounted snow tires in the trunk along with some new service parts including two sets of front brake pads, a set of rear brake shoes, wheel seals, engine belts, oil filter, radiator hose, transmission filter, spark plug wires, idler arm, rotor, trunk seal, and more. The paper work includes NJ state inspection from Aug. 2001 with the mileage of 50,713 and Aug. 2003 at 50,755 finally Sept. 2005 with 50,795 as he kept the car licensed but could not drive. I think the car is in excellent condition but feel free to come and inspect the car in Ringoes NJ 08551. It will make a great summer cruiser as this is the last year for the big bodies before downsizing started.
