0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false Listed for sale is a 1973 Limited Edition Pierre Cardin 401 Javelin AMX. As you can see I’ve started the restoration and have too many projects to complete. Instead of this just sitting and waiting until I have the time, I’ve decided to sell it. It is a running vehicle with all the parts for a complete car. It is a very Desirable Black exterior with white stripes and black or white vinyl top (either is correct). It is an air conditioned, 401, with rear defroster. Motor is strong and the transmission shifts correctly. The rear quarter panels are rusted like most of these cars and I’ve bought the correct replacement panel to weld in place. There is some rust near the windshield, in the channel at the top of the driver’s door, and at the back window, but not significant. I’ve check the floors and they look solid along with the trunk area. The passenger front trough will need to be replaced, but I have an original rust free part to use when the work is done. Someone that owned the car earlier repaired the inter rocker and it looks good, but I was going to replace both inter and outer rockers during the restoration. I have all the parts for the body restoration and will let them go with the car. I have both bumpers, front and back and rear lights for the car. Tire and wheels are correct for the car, but the tires are getting old. Interior is in good shape, but will need some repair and restoration. I have both the windshield and the back window for the car, but is not in place at this time. I removed it to start the restoration. I believe I describe the car as honestly as I can.
