94 RMW DCM Up for bid is a 1994 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with 62k two southern Virginia owner miles. Clean Carfax. No body rust, nice paint, and nice undercarriage. Loaded up with power everything. Boasting GMs Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Pleasant after 6:30 pm weekdays or any time weekends by appointment. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. New fuel pump. Newer battery & good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in very nice shape with a few small door dings on passenger side doors. Very straight otherwise. No body rust. Above average body. Paint: Paint is nice and shiny everywhere. All original paint except a few touch up spots including two paint chips on the hood. A few minor scratches on rear bumper. Above average for age. Wood: Upper wood trim was removed, painted tan and reinstalled so it wont peel like most do at this age. The side panel fake wood is in good shape with a few small chips/nicks as pictured. Otherwise, very nice and above average - still shiny and clear with no significant sun fading. Other: Lower stainless bright trim is very nice with no notable dings - even front bumper trim is nice. Rubber side trim is all there. Windshield has a small chip on passenger side as pictured. Undercarriage is extremely nice with only minor surface rust - see the pics - nice as youd expect of a southern car. Underhood sheet metal, tailgate sill and door jambs have no rust as seen in pics. Even underhood insulation pad is in excellent shape. Aluminum wheels are in excellent shape. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in excellent shape consistent with low miles. Dash has no cracks and is smooth and not warped, cloth seating areas are in great shape, cargo deck carpet in good shape with minor stains. Headliner is nice - no sagging, no fading anywhere. Steering wheel is in nice shape - dye not worn and grain still visible. Carpet is in very nice shape with none of that typical wear near the outboard drivers feet. All four original floormats. ON OFF RES lettering still clearly visible on multifunction stalk. No smoke or pet odors. Nice interior overall. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) Except for the rear wiper, all other power options work reliably, including power windows, power locks, dual power 6 way seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo cassette, rear window release, keyless entry, twilight sentinel, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out nicely. Steering is tight, alignment is good, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) Tires have good tread but are older and should be replaced soon but I am confident theyd make a cross country trip. Im happy to get it to a local tire store to have your preferred new tires installed at your expense if youd prefer them installed prior to pickup. No complaints - drive anywhere.
