* 40th Anniversary Year Corvette Convertible that is factory original, and well cared for in Black, with Light Beige Leather Interior, 86k Miles, and a nice value. **NO ACCIDENTS. HAS CLEAN CARFAX and AUTOCHECK. ( NOTE: 3 transfers of ownership on this Corvette were within the same family. Also in looking through ebay Corvette ads, I've found that for an example, that Autocheck rather Rate and Score a 2-3 owner car with 110k+ miles and owned in other states, that has had one accident minor or otherwise, higher scoring. Than others with multiple owners, lower miles, and owned within the same state, and that have No Accidents or stories. Go figure? Check it for yourself ) This 40th year Corvette, Drives like a Champ, rides beautifully, sounds great, and Runs quiet and efficiently. Always maintained and never abused. Though it shines and looks nice, she does has some sun fade starting (see all pics), but is quite savable with a quality painter who knows how to blend, and age paint. I won't touch it, so the new owner can see she really hasn't been painted over for the wrong reason, and that it was not hit or damaged. There has been no body work on the original panels. Equipped with:* LT1 5.7 V8 with Aluminum Heads (clean inside, and dry outside), 4 Speed Automatic Overdrive Transmission with 3.06 1st gear ratio, both operating flawlessly, including quiet drivetrain and Differential as well, with no clunks, ticks or leaks. * Never modified, and all Factory Stock, with CLEAN and DRY Undercarriage * Factory BOSE AM/FM Stereo with CD and Cassette, and speakers have no sound crackles. * Cold C68 Auto Climate Control A/C, along with Heating and Defroster system, and Vents, all operating nicely. * All Power including Windows, Door Locks, Twin electric Power Driver and Passenger Seats operating perfectly. Has Tilt Steering, Electric Outside Heated Mirrors, Cruise, Electric Hatch for loading bags, and storing top, Power Antenna, Courtesy and Wipers, Map Lights and Headlights open and close perfectly, and quietly. Horn works, and all Lights and Turn Signals are bright and working excellently. (NOTE: you need to pull the turn signal stalk a little towards driver as you click it up for the Right Turn Signal to stay on without having to hold the stalk. It is not anything major, doesn't hamper or inconvenience the driver, and I just wanted to disclose all, as this is a common malady on these cars. ) * Recent 255/40 x 17 Front Sumitomo Tires almost new at 96+% Treadlife, and 315/35 x 17 rear Tires at 75% tread life. Rims look nice and are in Very Good Condition and maintain their original brushed shine. (I also have Close up pics available) * Recent new Water Pump, Hoses, Thermostat, Anti Freeze, Opti Spark, Ignition Wires and Spark Plugs, along with Brakes and Rotors, and A/C Service and Charge, Oil and Trans Fluid and Filter, along with rear Diff. Fluid. * New GM (NOS) Vertical Weather Strips, and New A-Pillar / Windshield Surround Weather Strip. Excellent outside window sill weatherstrips, etc. * Newer Canvas Convertible Top in Excellent condition in and out, with no rips and operates easily, (rear vinyl Window is starting to get opaque, but isn't dried out and visibility is good. So repair / replace that item only (not the entire top), at an Upholstery shop when you want, or need to. * Has Factory Spare Tire, Jack, and an Owner’s Manual ** This Corvette has an extremely clean body, Paint and Hood Shines nicely, but there is some clear coat fade at some spots, as seen in pics. ** Freshly waxed Original Paint and Clean body with normal wear and tear and minimal blemishes, on both body and interior. ( A bottle of Black Trim Detailer applied to the body side moldings, will take care of the white wax residue marks ) ** Clean Door Panels and the Interior shows minimal wear, along with a couple tears on Driver seat bolster, which may be repaired by your local mobile auto seat repair companies. At my Buy It Now price, I will include having that repair done. Dash has no heat scorching, and is excellent. No broken pieces in the interior or trim. ** Just needing a little touch of paint love, She still has eyes, and will fit right in at your local cruise night or local Car Show, as she is a great running and driving Corvette. ** Always Florida owned and driven, so No Rust, Road Salt or beat up suspension from old patched roads. ** Recent good scoring current Autocheck and available as I have it, displaying No Damage, and No Accidents! To my fellow C4 devotee's: The 1992 thru 1996 models are the best and obviously the most well thought out examples of the thirteen year C4 model run. In my opinion, next to the great looking 1965-72 models, these later LT1's run as strong as 95% of the big blocks available in that era. But these late C4's are so much more affordable at the current time, then the more and mechanically more established 1999 and newer C5 models, and these C4 Corvettes will are getting the value recognition they deserve as time goes on, and the newer C7 pricing goes up. So they are a great way to drive your money, so to speak. This one is nice.
