1950 ford 4 door sedan $3000 or best offer Straight body, blue paint is faded. Dark blue Upholstery, headliner & sun visors very good condition. Set up for Chevy motor side mount motor. All side mount Chevy motor mount adaptors and frame adaptors are in place. Included with car: rebuilt Borg Warner T-5 five speed transmission, Chevy Nova bell housing (throw out fork clocked at 7 o'clock same as stock 1950 ford), specially made throw out fork (½ Chevy & ½ ford) that adapts Chevy throw out bearing & pivot ball to stock ford clutch linkage (all clutch linkage is included), special clutch 10 ½ clutch disk with pilot bushing and alignment tool and 153 tooth 10 ½" flywheel, Custom made driveshaft made by Thrash Driveshaft in San Antonio with new U joints installed 1 year ago, adapting Chevy T-5 trans output shaft to ford differential. Car has custom made 1"droped tie rod to clear Chevy oil pan. Stock 50 ford radiator is included. All throttle cable linkage is in place. (Car had a 600 CFM Holly 4bbl). Sun visor is included but not installed. Battery was relocated to trunk with two 00 welding cables running from trunk to engine bay that are in place. Has 3 year old Vintage Air under dash cool, defrost and heat unit in place and piping thru firewall is in place. Brackets for AC pump and Alternator mounting are included. Complete 2" exhaust system includes both L & R Chevy cast iron manifolds and Flow Master mufflers in place. Floor pan over transmission has special sheet metal cover installed to clear transmission. Transmission cross member has been modified to fit stock Chevy T-5 rear transmission mount. With side mount motor, bell housing & trans bolted together it will be a drop in install. Stock differential has 3.73 gears (no noise). Wheel, pinion & carrier bearings were replaced 3 years ago when Differential was rebuilt by Thrash Differential in San Antonio. Both front safety glass windshields & rubber weather stripping are in excellent condition having been replaced 4 years ago as was weather stripping and rubber on both front doors. Brakes are good; tires are fair (sounds like the "Hot Rod Lincoln" song). Note: Car was my running driver until 3 months ago when I acquired a 1953 Victoria with a 3 in the tree and I removed the 350 Chevy crate motor to install in the Vicky with the ford OD Trans. The Chevy motor and 5 speed was initially installed in 2011 and was daily driver until 3 months ago. Everything is there except for motor, 10½" Chevy pressure plate & AC compressor & AC condenser. Car used stock Chevy fuel pump. Car has tow bar brackets in place and I will flat tow deliver within 2 to 3 hour drive of San Antonio Tx, otherwise buyer is responsible to arrange for transportation and associated costs. I will coordinate with purchasers Transport Company here at the San Antonio pick up. Electronic bank transfer or cashier's check only & must clear bank deposit prior to delivery and release of title.
