When it appeared, it was the first modern four-stroke enduro motorcycle and the first mass-produced 4-valve motorcycle. The XL250, laid the groundwork for the revolutionary big modern four-stroke-enduro wave. It has only 6600 miles on it, always starts easy, runs strong, and looks great! It has just been professionally serviced including adjustment of the timing, valve clearance, and clutch. The carburetor has been ultrasonically cleaned and gaskets replaced; then the mixture was adjusted. Headlight, taillight, switches and horn are in good working order. New items include chain, battery, spark plug, carb and petcock gaskets, fuel hoses and filters. Any shipping costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer.
