Available is a 1979 Porsche 911 SC non-sunroof coupe. The car has it's complete and original drive train. It has had the same owner since 1988 with 74,000 miles on the clock. The previous owner is a professor at Yale. It was parked in 2007 but was started at regular intervals. The engine will start, the brakes and clutch work. It needs to be mechanically sorted before it runs more than a few seconds. I have a video of it running available. The oil in the crankcase is very clean, and there are no visible oil leaks. I took pictures of the car engine, trans, pan, interior and exterior for perspective buyers to see the car untouched. It was originally Guards Red, but had a poor Black respray years ago. There is no evidence of any accident damage. The pans are solid with the exception of the front battery box area. There are a couple soft spots in that area. It has an OEM turbo tail and 16" fuchs. All glass is good, but I noticed a small crack on lower passenger side windshield. This is a great candidate for a non sunroof coupe track car foundation or restore her. The car is complete with the exception of the carpet and drivers door panel. This car needs a complete restoration, but with rising values it is a worthy candidate. I bought it because I have an '83 SC coupe roller and I was going to remove the engine, 5 speed, dash, and A/C and use them on the '83, then I realized that would become a project I'd probably never finish! Now I'm offering it for someone else to utilize. I'm a PCA member, and I bought it from a PCA member. Do not hesitate to contact me with questions.
