A nicely restored genuine, real 442 with upgraded Big Block 455 engine and 200R4 overdrive Transmission with working Air Conditioning. Been in Southern California for at least 25 years, maybe all its Life. Very Solid, No major rust issues. About 3500 miles and 4 years since most restoration items were done, including paint, unless otherwise noted. Features and Upgrades: · 1968 Date Correct 455 Block with big end nodular Crank. All work professionally done with many receipts. 30 over Balanced & Blueprinted. Forged Sealed Power pistons with hardened Chromoly rings, 9.8 to 1 compression. High Volume oil pump. Double roller timing chain. · Ported & Polished “E” Heads with hardened seats. · Comp Cams roller rockers & Push rods. · Custom Grind Erson Camshaft E541021 M/P2 Grind. · Procomp Dual plane polished intake manifold and hi-output electronic ignition with Holley 800 cfm carburetor w/electric choke. · Champion 3-row high performance aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, auto-temp controlled. Car does run normal temp with A/C on in hot weather. · Many new and/or rebuilt accessories, such as high torque mini-starter, alternator / regulator, Belts, & Hoses. · Upgraded 200R4 overdrive transmission equipped with lock-up converter switch. Pro-built w/receipts. Constant pressure performance valve body, new flex plate. At 80 mph, RPM is about 1800. · Complete Flowmaster exhaust system. · Original Oldsmobile wheels. · The paint color is called Pepper Grey Metallic. 2-stage, color sanded and buffed. Correct Stripes are painted on under clear coat. After about 3 - 4 years, the paint is holding up very well. It does have some small chips from normal driving and a few small imperfections, but still looks very nice. · Front suspension has been rebuilt including balljoints, shocks, and steering box. · Upgraded front disc brakes including new Booster and master cylinder. · Rear brakes have also been rebuilt and/or serviced. · New shocks. Front & Rear. · Most all interior upholstery has been redone with OPGI components. New fully assembled door panels, headliner with sail panels, and rear package tray. All new seals, all around. Door jambs, windows, trunk and hood. Restored original simulated wood steering wheel. Fairly new, correct vinyl roof. New windshield. Professionally installed front & rear speakers with aftermarket hi-po CD player under dash. Equipped with Factory power Antenna, Tilt wheel, Tic-Tock Tachometer (not working). · Original owner’s manual, Dealer option book, and vin number stamped warranty plan booklet. · Just about everything on this car has either been replaced, repaired, rebuilt, serviced or restored to bring it up to a high standard. Totally dependable driver that we think can be driven anywhere without worry. Some items are still in original condition inside the interior and show some wear and I think, give it some character, like the shifter and original radio and other knobs and things of that nature. Have California Title (pink slip) in- hand and is currently registered. Some items that go with the car not pictured are: Spare wheel, Car Cover, and a Dash Clock. Odometer shows about 57,200 miles.
