This beautiful old '62 Willy's Truck Barn Find. It's the ultimate canvas for a restoration. This truck has no engine. It's a roller. A Floor panel in the cab needs to be replaced because of rust. The cab and dash need to be totally redone. Outside though this truck is extra cool. There are original parts that have value. I think the pictures will speak for themselves. Again I repeat this is a total restoration truck. But it's a fabulous truck to bring back to life. This truck was found in a barn by a local dealer and it was presumed to belong to the originial owner. I bought it to restore. But this truck deserves better then what I can devote to it. I've added four pics today to better show inside the cab and the bed of the truck. I'm sorry they are not definitive as I don't have the means to carry the transmission out of the back of the truck. It's being stored in such a way that inside the cab is difficult also but i gave it a shot. I've also added a pic of the bunch of parts that come with it. I did have a car restorer today inspect the bed and he said - as i thought - surface rust but no structural damage. The transmission has leaked some on the bed of the truck but that's not a bad thing at all. Some added information. A person who was interested in the truck and is familiar with this model says that there are some modified and non-original items on this truck. I will take his word for it. It was sold to me as a barn find. *In an earlier version I called this a 63 willy truck. That's what the person I bought it from said it was. After I researched the Vin Number it clearly was a 1962 Willy's Truck. And the Title from the DMV now correctly lists it as a 1962 Willy's Truck. Sorry for the confusing information.
