Vehicle Detail

2004 Porsche 911 Carrera - Black Coupe 47K mi - Clean as Whistle 2dr Coupe (3.6L 6cyl 6M) MORE PICS: https://www.storehouse.co/stories/p345g-porsche-911-black-coupe Amazing good looks. Shines like nothing else. Compliments fly in from all directions every time the car is out of the garage. It’s an incredible value for the money considering it cost over $85K new. I’m realistic about what I’m looking for knowing that I’m going to take a hit after buying the car just 7 months ago before I knew I was going to be upgrading to a larger house. It’s a real show stopper that everyone including Porsche owners ask about — a unique model with all the features you want. Heated seats. Six way adjustable seating. Porsche mats. And don’t let anyone tell you that automatic is not the way to go. I’ve honestly been a manual driver my whole life in almost 10 cars. I bought this automatic for two reasons: the only owner who put barely 44k miles on it since ’04 was incredibly reputable in the Porsche community (verifiable if you’re serious); and second, because it’s a pristine car and my wife promised she would take it out once in a while (doesn’t drive stick, won’t even consider it) — but alas, she never drove it. However, that doesn’t change the fact that if you live anywhere with traffic, the tiptronic is actually faster and gives you just as much control without wearing out the clutch and getting a tired left foot. It is an absolute blast and has all the power and control you could ask for — whether upshifting or downshifting. And if what you want is a Porsche that won’t cost you a $1000 a month for every little thing that goes wrong, that’s this car. PICS: https://www.storehouse.co/stories/p345g-porsche-911-black-coupe Further thoughts: I bought this Porsche (again only seven months ago) in October 2014 for over $36,500. I’ve only put on 3,000 miles. All records are available at any Porsche dealership and I have the car fax, most of the records from the previous owner, and all of the records for my for the maintenance I performed on her. After owning an 82 SC for a few years prior (she was really the love of my life), and then test driving nearly every 996 and early 997 model in my price range, this was the car and model that stood out and with everything it comes with the decision was easy. For less money than most entry level 3 series, you can have a classic slick black 911 Porsche in perfect shape. It’s a best-in-class vehicle and won’t let down!!! She is loaded with nearly all options except nav, which you wouldn’t want being that it would be considerably outdated. She is a joy to drive with incredible handling, acceleration, and a smooth ride. I have snow tires that I’d be happy to throw in. I don’t know why I bought them since this sat in the garage all winter. Beautiful color outside and top quality all leather inside. No downsides. Just look at the pictures. PICS: https://www.storehouse.co/stories/p345g-porsche-911-black-coupe The usual complaints....bad cup holders and the 996 headlights. The good news is the headlights are updatable. And for anyone worried about this year’s engine, you should know a few things: There were 6 years of the 996 before the last 2004 model and any reputable dealership will tell you that the 2004 is the most reliable 996 you can buy. Additionally, with just 47,000 miles and essentially one lifetime owner (who was the local president of the Porsche Club of America) and then me for less than a year, this car is in pristine mechanical condition. I have no regrets ever with this purchase however, it simply hits our DTI ratio too hard for our mortgage broker!! :-( Test drive one if you can find one nearby and then I know you’ll want to bid and bid fast because it’s a fast auction!!
