ADDITIONAL LT1 C4 CORVETTE NOTES: This is truly a nice Corvette, and buyer will be driving a future Muscle Car collectible inexpensively. She is a nice example of a 21 year old garaged Corvette that has been driven approx. only 3,500 miles per year. In 94 the LT1 switched to a Mass Airflow Sensor and Sequential Port Injection. A new, more capable computer controlled the transmission as well as the engine and got a new name: powertrain control module (PCM). Where the 1993 and older C4's had an ECM which held its calibration information in a replaceable chip, the '94 and up PCM was reprogrammable through the diagnostic port. To my fellow C4 devotee's. The 1994 thru 1996 models are the best and obviously the most well thought out examples of the thirteen year C4 model run. Plus easier to get in and out of with the newer style seats they shared '94-'96 also.In my opinion, next to the great looking 1965-72 models, these later LT1's run as strong as 95% of the big blocks available in that era. But these late C4's are so much more affordable at the current time, then the more and mechanically more established 1999 and newer C5 models, and these C4 Corvettes will are getting the value recognition they deserve as time goes on, and the newer C7 pricing goes up.
