This LaSalle is a real survivor. I'm 65, and would like to see her go to someone who really respects these old LaSalles. She could be clear coated and preserved as is, or could be restored to its original glory without a huge investment. I haven't found any rust on the body, floor pans or frame. The plating on the bumpers is showing some surface rust. It's all original except for 12 volt upgrade and electric fuel pump. I drive it around town once a week. It has the 322 flathead V8 and three speed on the column. Interior is original, and the odometer shows 43,858 miles. The car has some peeling paint showing the primer, and the interior could probably be refreshed, but it's usable as is. It has a couple of small, 1" spots that need sewn. The headliner is in great shape. Two of the flat glass windows have a crack, and I don't have wiper blades for it. It has an aftermarket temp gauge and oil pressure gauge that work. The instrument cluster needs a 12 volt upgrade. I've replaced the front sway bar links.
