This is a beautiful black on black Turbo Trans Am that I am the second owner now for 16 years. Pontiac had made only 7,196 of these cars.Vin# 2W87TAN127744. The engine runs fantastic with synthetic oil changes done every 3000 or 6 months regularly. I had the car repainted and new graphics installed since the original lacquer paint was just starting to crack near the left sail bird pillar. I purchased this Trans Am from the original owner. This T/A never saw bad weather and was garaged all of it's life. This has been a true fair weather vehicle. When I purchased the car it had 26,645 miles on it and now has 40,393. There is no rust on it at all and has never been in any accidents. The Cragars were purchased by the original owner when he first took delivery on the car and are in near mint condition for being 35 years old. The Turbo hood lights work perfectly. This option was not originally ordered with the car but I came across them and saw it needed this option. The owner seeing it on the car after I purchased it said had he known that was available from the dealer he would have ordered it. They have the off, low and high settings for day and night time driving. This Trans Am was in storage and under a cover for ten years when the owner had moved. Once he decided to start driving it again, it required a new gas tank and sending unit along with a new fuel filter of course. It also needed a new radiator and tires from it's long hibernation. I had the transmission completely rebuilt by Fisher Auto Trans. All the gaskets, seals and bands were done with synthetic TCI trans fluid put in for protection and longevity.They are over an hour away from my house but are worth the trip because they are the best around when it comes to servicing classic cars. The rear gears are 3:73 which I like better for cruise nights and to car shows. I have the original 3:08 gears if you want to put them back on. I encourage the buyer to have the vehicle inspected by a 3rd party or done by him or herself prior to the close of sale. The T-Top bags are excellent condition. A $500.00 deposit through Pay pal is required within 24 hours of auction. Full payment is required within 7 days of auction close. I prefer cashier's check or cash as payment. The car and title will be released when funds have cleared. The buyer is responsible for the delivery and vehicle pick up at the end of the auction.
