I've owned this vehicle from new, and kept it maintained regularly, it's inspected and drives very well. it has huge passenger accommodation, and the interior is in OK condition.This is an SE extended crew cab model with 4 wheel and 2 wheel drive modes, engine feels good.it has a tow hitch fitted. But due to its high mileage, Vermont weather and dirt roads several things are failing, and I'm moving on to a new vehicle.It's been very reliable, and is great work horse all year round.Tires are in good shape (multi season with a good grip for mud or dirt)New rear Bumper assemblyNew fuel pump 3 yrs agoARE Bed cap installed ( rear window assembly is broken , but the frame and window are still available, the lower aluminum retaining bar failed. The Main issue is that the auto box has a valve failure, and needs either exactly the correct part to fix this ( must work with engine ECU) or a new / used gearbox, to restore this to a good everyday vehicle.I still drive this for towing my trailer, as although it only works in the first 3 gears , with a 5,6L V8 I can cruise all day with a trailer doing 80 and it's still turning over less than 4000 revs in 3rd. Externally the vehicle is in tatty condition - mulitple dings , dents and part of the front left fender missing.The brakes assemblies look corroded , but still workABS and SLIP lights are onExhaust ( probably manifold) is blowing , but not too loudBody panel rusting.Parking sensors/ TPM doesn't workPassenger seat stainedSpare wheel is on the truck bed the spare assembly rusted away - who wants to spend an hour retrieving the spare anyway :) Would be great for someone who wants a tow vehicle for occasional use or for plowing, or a great project for someone with mechanic skills.Could be brought back to a very good spec with a little mechanical skill or a few $k invested. Alternatively , it could be good for parts , the engine runs very well, and is still quiet and smooth and a lot of truck. This would make a great cheap vehicle for the right person. Absolutely no warranty expressed or implied, this is an old high mileage vehicle in fair to poor condition, with all the faults described above.
