Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1969 Pontiac GTO. This vehicle has been being restored for over 2 years. It is far from perfect. The car drives great and turns heads while doing so. Even Summit Racing Equipment has used photos of it on their website as well as Facebook page. It was a top 10 finalist in 2013 for their car of the year. The car is not numbers matching. I will try to be as specific about the details of this car as possible. -As the VIN indicates, it is the 03 1969 car-Rebuilt 400 HO engine, date stamp May of 1968-Rebuilt TH400 transmission-Replaced posi-trac-New brake booster and master cylinder-All new wheels and tires.-New suspension-Seats have been recovered-New headliner-New front door interior panels (not installed currently)-New Flowmaster exhaust (not welded)-Re-chromed rear bumper-Original cast front and rear bezels-New heater core-Areas of interior are covered in roll on Dynamat-New windshield -New fuel sending unit-All gauges in cluster work-All exterior lights work-New Optima red top battery Still needs-Doors and rear window installed (I have them all, just not installed. Comes with the car. Door glass is brand new)-A/C needs completely redone. Does not work and has no controls or cables installed in dash. -No radio -Door weather strips-Some door and window cranks-Trunk weatherstripping -Spark plug wires shortened-Although transmission has been rebuilt, it has some leaks that need repaired-Power steering works, but there is a leak at the steering box-Paint needs touched up. There are some chips and scratches on the body and front bumper-All seat belts installed besides driver. (Will come with the car)-Package tray-Rear panels under quarter glass-Slight leak in rear end-E Brake does not currently work -Spare tire and jack-Mileage is as guess as I have swapped out the original cluster. The car has about 50 miles on it since the engine was rebuilt. There are some miscellaneous things that will also need to be done to the car. These are just the more major ones. A lot of the parts to finish the car will come with it, but not all. As per the owner previous to me, some of the body parts have come from a Lemans. This can easily be seen by looking at the cowl plate. There are places on the internet where you can get the cowl plate remade to match everything original from the build sheet. Which, I have a copy of from the PHS for the VIN number for the car. The original color of the car per the VIN is palladium silver with a black vinyl top. The car was black when I got it and kept it that way. As I have stated, this car is not complete and is not represented to be as such. It is a work in progress With a little bit of work you can have an amazing looking classic muscle car with one of the best VIN numbers possible. I will not disclose the reserve so please do not inquire about the reserve. I encourage you inspect the vehicle prior to placing a bid. I did my best to describe the car to the accurately. It is very important to keep in mind that this vehicle is pre-owned, not brand new. After careful reading of the entire description, rather than making a potentially incorrect assumption, please message me prior to bidding if you have a question. I have disclosed as much information as possible about this vehicle. However, I recommend that all buyers conduct an inspection either in person or through a qualified professional third party inspector prior to the end of the auction. The successful "winning" bidder must contact us within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction. A non refundable $500.00 deposit will be required to be received within 24 hours of the auction close.Full payment must be received within 5 business days of the end of auction. Payment must be either by CASH, cashiers-check, wire transfer or certified funds. You can pay by PAYPAL if you cover the cost of the service fees. The car will not leave the warehouse and the title will not be transferred until all funds have cleared the bank. If funds are not received, and an alternate arrangement has not been made, the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come, first-serve basis. The GTO is sold As-Is, with no warranties expressed or implied, by seller. As with any used vehicle, minor signs of wear may become more obvious under close inspection, such small chips or nicks, light scratches or minor abrasions, wheel scuffs, and other indications of normal wear and tear. We will not and cannot be held liable or responsible for these issues. I will work with your shipping arrangements if you chose that method. However, the buyer pays all shipping costs. I do not have any affiliation with, or interest in, any transportation companies and all questions or concerns should be addressed directly with them. PLACING A BID ON THIS AUCTION CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL THE INFORMATION PRESENTED.
