This is my first listing on ebay as a seller, but my husband has a 99.1% positive feedback rating with 261 feedback scores. His username is discount_deal_dude and you can look him up to see our other items. ITEM: 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle. I have a clean title for this car, but it is not in my name. If your state requires a notarized bill of sale, please call ahead to make arrangements. MODEL: Super Beetle with: custom seats, door panels, and headliner from Sewfine, VARGA disc brakes, front and back, electric windows, 1600 dual port single carb motor, Weber 32/36DAFV 2 barrel Carb with progressive aluminum intake. (no air filter)Factory Air conditioning (does not work, but everything is there including the compressor, condenser, Freon lines, controls, A/C box, in-dash vents, etc.), EMPI sliding trigger shifter and EMPI roller throttle pedal, Chrome engine bay kit CONDITION: Motor runs good, but has an oil leak and a small exhaust leak. Paint is, in my opinion, in decent condition but has a lot of tiny (and some big) bubbles, some chips and scratches, and one pretty big peeling spot on the roof. (see pictures)There is a small rusted out spot in the Driver's side rocker panel about the size of a quarter (see pictures), but the floor pans are solid and the car is overall mostly rust-free. The seats, door panels, and headliner are in nearly perfect condition. The dash is in good shape, speedometer and fuel gauge work properly.The carpet is in great shape with the exception of one small tear in the passenger floor (see pictures)Electric windows work good, but the passenger side is kind of slow to come up.I do not have mirrors for the car. Tires have plenty of tread, but are kind of old and have some dry cracking.Car needs new shocks front and back.NOTE: I have done my best to describe this car accurately, but we strongly suggest you come look at and drive the car for yourself because I'm sure I've forgotten something.
