Selling my cherished Lotus Elise only because my girlfriend has had a stroke and can no longer get in and out of it. This car is in immaculate condition. Owner is retired 67 year old man with 7 other cars. Garage kept and only driven in pretty weather. Never raced, tracked, or otherwise abused. Fresh battery this month. No dings. Only small mark in paint is on rear spoiler area, too small to see in a photo. If you want any more photos than those posted just let me know. I'll take whatever shot you wish and email it to you. Has small interior mirror installed, but I have the larger stock mirror. No visors. Were removed by original owner. Otherwise bone stock. I live in Saluda, NC, 20 miles from the Asheville, NC airport and 40 miles from the Greenville/Spartanburg, SC airport. Many years buying and selling on eBay, including high ticket items, with 100% positive feedback. You will not be disappointed in this car.On Jun-29-15 at 03:58:44 PDT, seller added the following information: No damage. Very slight paint imperfections from ordinary driving, including a nick on the lip of the rear spoiler. Tires will need replacement before next season. On drive yesterday (June 28) the check engine light came on. Ran and drove fine. Will post update when I get the code read.On Jun-29-15 at 09:58:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Just ran an error code check. It is P0012, indicating bank 1 camshaft timing over-retarded. I doubt this is correct, because it is running normally and smoothly. From what I read online it's probably a sensor error, but I'm getting it fully checked out at the earliest opportunity. Drove it both on twisty road and the interstate and can detect no problem or degradation in performance. Never before had a dissatisfied eBay buyer and don't intend to have one now.On Jul-06-15 at 12:53:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Just returned from Lotus of Greenville. Technician reset the code lights, ran full diagnostics, including MPI multi-point vehicle inspection and extended road test. Clean bill of health. Light out and did not come back on.
