91 Olds CCR 59k Up for bid is a 1991 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser wagon with 59k one owner miles. B body wagon with same frame/body panels as the 1991-96 Chevy Caprice and Buick Roadmaster wagons, but the Olds was built only 91-92. No body rust, nice paint, and nice undercarriage. Loaded up with power everything and most of it works - cold a/c, PW, PS, etc. Powered provided by its original 5.0L Chevy throttle body injected (TBI) 305 V8 engine (L03) and 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission, which provides a decent balance of power and fuel economy. Base 2.73 open rear end (GU3) with functional auto levelling. Delivers 16 mpg in town and 23 highway mpg, which is pretty good for a car this size. Runs and drives GREAT - drive this car anywhere. Pleasant after 6:30 pm weekdays or any time weekends by appointment. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Good battery & charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in very nice shape with only a couple very small dings as pictured on left rear door and left front fender. Very straight elsewhere. No body rust, no bondo, not even under the lower cladding (yes, I removed it to check). Above average body. Paint: Paint is nice and shiny - one repaint in good (but not show) quality. Above average. Other: Lower plastic cladding trim is all present and in nice shape except the right rear door, which has a couple screws holding it in place. Windshield and all other glass are good. Undercarriage is extremely nice with only minor rust - see the pics of undercarriage. Aluminum wheels have some factory clearcoat fading but no curb rash or damage. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in very nice shape. The only complaints are a small crack on the dash near the defroster vent, some light carpet wear on the drivers side, and a couple cigarette burns on the carpet near the ashtray but there are NO smoke odors - whenever it was smoked in was long, long ago. The glovebox handle is broken in pics but I have another and will replace before auction end. Seating areas are in nice shape, headliner is nice - no sagging or tears, rear cargo deck carpeting is very nice. Steering wheel is in nice shape. All 4 factory floormats are present. No smoke or pet odors. Very nice interior overall. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) The only complaints are that the hatch release from the dash doesnt work but opens with the key, and the power antenna doesnt work. All other power options work including power windows, power locks, power drivers seat, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo cassette, auto levelling rear shocks, intermittent wipers, rear wiper, rear defrost all work. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out beautifully! Steering is tight, alignment is good, suspension is tight. Has new control arm bushings and tie rods. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 60% tread remaining on a matched set of good quality radials. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - drives GREAT - drive anywhere. Short version terms: Small non-refundable deposit as listed (but fast) by Paypal within 24 hours.
