Holy Cow check out the Dune Buggy! This is a Very Nice Build, Starting with a Rust Free Pan, Meyer Manx style Fiberglass Body, The motor is a Dual Port, I do not know what CC it is but it has every indication that it has been Built!, Probably Punched out, bigger cam, etc. It has a Weber Carb, Headers, Deep sump oil pan (Holds 6 Quarts) oil cooler and remote filter, Aluminum valve covers, tins etc etc. It has a Close Ratio 4 speed Shifter, Bogie Brakes, Nice full set of Auto Meter Gauges, including Tac, Speedometer, Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, Volts. Racing seats with 4 point harness, Full Roll Cage, Brand New matching Off Road tires. New Shocks, and Front End parts,Electric Fuel Pump, SS Brake Lines, Runs Strong, Drives Good, Fully Titled and Street Legal. The Fiberglass Body is in Excellent Condition, no cracks or missing parts. Paint is excellent as well, Not a show buggy but Great Condition. I do not pretend to know everything about this Buggy as I am not a VW Expert, and I purchased this from the auction, however it appears that this was built very well with lots of good parts, not just a back yard thrown together stock Buggy. Call 616-318-0118 anytime This did have a Rear Seat with seat belts however it was completely useless with the Roll Bar, No normal size human being would fit,. and any kid that small would need a Car Seat, so I removed it. Here are a few known items that will need attention. The brakes need to be adjusted it pulls to the left when braking. Pedal is good. Turn signals do not work, all of the other lights DO. Wipers do not work but you probably wont be driving this in the rain anyway! There is an oil leak from the rear main seal, easily replaced as stated from my VW Mechanic. Alt gauge does not work but the alt is working correctly. The rear view mirrors on the body are worthless, and should be removed and new ones installed in a different location. Little Hot Rod ones installed on the windshield Frame would be perfect! I am sure the carb could use adjustments for fine tuning but I do not have that talent.
