2005 Saleen S281 Mustang convertible. Redfire metallic exterior with a black convertible top. Charcoal leather interior w/Saleen seats. The Saleen package includes 20" polished wheels, badging, suspension upgrades, larger brakes, custom leather seats, custom gauges, limited factory number, custom exhaust, engine upgrades, etc. If you're reading this, you likely know what a Saleen mustang is.It is car #841, and was 1 of 92 Saleen Mustang 3V convertibles made in 2005. I am the second owner of this car and have had it since 2008. I love the car, but am ready to move on because I get antsy after these years of ownership. My eye is on something new. It has approximately 51,000 miles at the time of this ad posting. The paint looks very good. It has a fairly small scratch in the plastic rear fascia. Body panels are smooth. No tears in the leather. The 281 V8 3V engine runs great / strong. It sounds awesome with the Saleen exhaust. The 5 speed transmission shifts cleanly and smoothly. The clutch is good. Plenty of rubber on the tires. The convertible top is good. The last oil change was about 1800 miles ago, and has been done every 3000 miles (most of them by me rather than a shop.) Obviously it's been stored during 'winter' months (November - April). Overall the car is great.It is beautiful. If the sight of this car doesn't turn heads, the sound of the Saleen exhaust certainly will.
