Vehicle Detail

Purchased from lady who was too elderly to drive anymore. I've been using it for quick runs to the Home Depot and Grange, but my wife says we don't need 5 vehicles. Tuned up with oil change, new cap, rotor, plugs and wires. Installed a Pertronix ignition and a re-manufactured carburetor. I kept the breaker points as back up in the glove box. The engine is a 351, which the auto parts guy said is not original. He says it's out of a 1974 or 1976 (I can't remember) passenger car. Runs fine, doesn't smoke, has good oil pressure. Tranny works fine, brakes stop well, no pulling. Lights, blinkers, emergency flashers, horn, radio, heater, speedometer, odometer, wipers, fuel and oil pressure gauges work. The temperature gauge does not work. Weather stripping and window sweeps are intact. Windshield has a scratch on the passenger side from the wiper. The interior is very nice. Seat bottom is torn but the foam is not broken down. The rubber mat is in great shape and the dash is not cracked or warped. Headliner and sun visors are nice as well. Tires are biased ply and ride and drive like biased ply tires do. It's bouncy on the way to the Depot and smooth on the way home. Steering and suspension are tight. Doors and tail gate shut tight and easy, no sagging hinges. Windows roll up and down kind of stiff and the door locks are kind of stiff. It looks like there was a camper or something in the bed, so there's a bit of rust towards the front of the bed. Other than that, the bed is in good shape and is not smashed into the cab. The rest of the body had minor dings and scratches. It does not appear the have ever been wrecked. You can see from the pictures that some of the body molding is missing. At some point, someone used spray paint to "touch up" scratches on the light green paint on the bed and in the door jambs. The paint color doesn't match exactly, so I removed most of it from the sides of the bed and tail gate. Inside the bed and on the tops of the bed rails the paint is still there. It has an auxiliary fuel tank, but it's not hooked up and I don't have keys for the fill door. Overall, the truck is in great shape for being 45 years old and gets lots of compliments. It has been very nostalgic for me as it is just how my Grandfather had his farm truck. From the biased ply directional mud tires on back and straight ribbed steer tires to the rattle can paint touch up and saddle blanket seat cover, it brings back fond memories. Anyway, fly in, drive it home, have it shipped, whatever works. I can meet you at the airport or meet a transport truck. $150 PayPal deposit due within 24 hours after the auction ends and the balance via money order or cashier's check within one week, unless other arrangements are made. The truck can stay at my house as long as necessary, if prior arrangements are made. I'm easy to work with. Feel free to call 541-531-9995 or email with questions. Thanks! Here's some videos.
