91 CS Up for bid is one of just 3,865 final year 1991 Ford Crown Victoria LX Country Squire 3 seat station wagons. Exceptionally rust-free undercarriage and body with just one spot showing as seen in pics. Lifelong southern Virginia car. Two owner car with second owner since 1994 and 64k miles. Well equipped with cold a/c and lots of power stuff. Powered by Fords 302 CI (5.0L) 2 bbl carb V8 and 4 speed automatic transmission. Towing package wagon with 3.08 open rear gears and full factory dual exhaust. Lots of new parts under hood as evidenced by a Carfax report that shows dozens of maintenance and repair items (just ask and Im happy to forward it to you.) Good battery & good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. Newer alternator, water pump, radiator, and A/C compressor/dryer. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all four forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Shifts nice and hard with shift kit. Clean fluid with no burn odors. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in very nice shape with no notable dings - very straight down the sides. The only rust on the body is a small bubble above left rear wheel as seen in pics. Door bottoms nice with no rust. Above average body. Paint: Paint is very nice except some clearcoat peeling on the roof. Other: Chrome front bumper and rear anodized bumper are in great shape. Windshield has a small chip/star just above the drivers vision line. Undercarriage is exceptionally nice and solid - see the pics - no rust in rear frame rails. Aluminum wheels in good shape with some curb rash. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is pretty nice. Dash has no cracks and carpets are very nice with all 4 factory floormats and factory rear carpeting, headliner not sagging anywhere, leather seats are nice with some minor wear/checking on drivers seat, door panels are gorgeous. Cargo deck and 3rd seating in nice shape. See pics for accurate depiction. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items and guages work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) The power locks dont function all the doors, but all other power stuff works - power drivers seat, power windows, hot heat and cold a/c, am/fm CD, tilt wheel, cruise control, intermittent wipers, automatic heatlights, cornering lamps, rear defroster and power rear window all work. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out beautifully! Steering is tight, alignment is good with a very slight pull to the left, suspension is super tight with newer heavy duty shocks. Brakes work well with good linings and no vibration. Tires have about 70% tread remaining on a matched set of Michelin radials. Solid dual exhaust with no leaks. Drives out strong.
