1991 JEEP CHEROKEE LAREDO 4 DOOR AUTOMATIC 4.0 6 CYL BLACK/GRAY looking for something that runs great ? Do not care what it looks like ? here it is !! we put ALOT of work in this jeep - we bought this approx 3 years ago , we never got into an accident with this vehicle during our ownership- has clean vehicle history!! previous owner drove back and forth from pa to Wisconsin a lot as he had family there. was used mainly for driving distance with us as well . this jeep has many highway miles - inspected till 9/15 have many receipts for work done past couple months work : had brakes adjusted/cleaned- oil change- clean throttle body/change (rear) differential seal NEW HEADLINER! WONT FIND THAT IN TOO MANY OF THESE ! past 3 years : thermostat-water pump-serpentine belt- LEFT differential seals and axle bearing NEW-rear brake drums inspected-new wiper blades- new parking brake and cables tune up 02 sensor --fuel filter--air filter- cam /crank sensor--new starter new transmission line all fluid/filter cleaned out 2 brand new front tires alignment -both side mirrors new NEW battery from AAA- warranty more work done ,im sure you get the idea - whatever it needed along the line was done positives: engine runs great smooth no knocks etc. transmission shifts perfectly - has been kept clean non smoker - more work done than the other jeeps you have looked at negatives : paint is mostly faded/oxidized on hood/roof - please understand we focused on mechanics and keeping this jeep clean inside- air condition does not work 1 of the lines has a slow leak- never got that fixed because we use this truck mainly in the winter you will LOVE it in the snow! 4 WHEEL DRIVE does have some dings here and there , slight dent in passenger front fender was there when I bought the truck no worries - there were some rust holes (normal ) on both sides bottom of back doors area - rocker panels- WE fixed the holes ourselves , not our strong point, but , we did our best .came out (ok) it is wayyyyyyyy better than it was , some paint over spray on the black body - etc. they sell the rocker panels on eBay for 35 bucks each if you want that area better than this . needs: not right away , down the line. steering wheel has a little bit of play, we think its the gear box , never fixed it has been that way 3 years . rear main seal has a SLOWWWWWWWWWW leak . . maybe 1 quart per year slow ? if that? - needs small things inside (plastic seat handle ,rear speaker , the master window/lock switch will need to be replaced gets stuck sometimes . windows work fine it is more the locks - IN CLOSING - YOU CAN GET IN THIS JEEP AND DRIVE ACROSS COUNTRY RIGHT NOW WITH NO WORRIES IN HERE ! NOTHING WE WOULD CONSIDER MAJOR MILEAGE MAY BE HIGH BUT THIS JEEP DOES NOT KNOW IT!!! IT IS A BEAR! TITLE IS EXEMPT ONLY BECAUSE OF MILES/YEAR ! ODOMETER WORKS FINE! NEVER STOPPED WORKING !
