Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 1999 Mitsubishi Mirage if anyone is interested. PICK UP ONLY, UNLESS YOU WANT TO BUY AND LEAVE IT UNTIL YOU GET TITLE/REGISTRATION/ETC (1 WEEK MAXIMUM)! I will clean the interior before the buyer comes by. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK!!!!! Here are some specs: Vehicle's condition is: Fair. My mother owned this car for most of its life and she is a very easy driver. The oil was changed every 3,000 miles by my father. This car is very easy to work on. The check engine light comes on quite often but it does not diminish the performance of the car. I had a computer code run and it said it was the oxygen sensor. So likely, the catalytic converter needs to be replaced in order to pass an emissions test (only if required in buyer’s area). Mileage: 259,724 Asking Price: 400.00 This will be a good car to drive short distances. Not recommended for HWY driving due to small engine. That’s why I am getting rid of it. It does not do well on the interstate. Requires some mechanical repairs/servicing but is in reasonable running condition. There is a squeaking belt. Some cosmetic defects that require repair and/or replacement. There are body dings, chips and scratches. A deer ran into the passenger’s side door, so there is a dent. This dent is where the door jam sensor is. So I had to add some tape over the sensor so the door light will go off on the dash. Wear on interior, but not significant. Vehicle may require a tune up. May have some repairable rust damage. Tires may need replacing but two of them are newer and still have at least 50%+ on tread. This car has new brakes and a new valve cover gasket. Engine compartment has NO LEAKS. When I last had it serviced for the oil leak at the valve cover gasket, the mechanic put it up on a lift to see if any other fluids were leaking and surprisingly enough, NO OTHER LEAKS. So, now it burns a little oil due to the age of the car but it did not have any leaking fluids as of last check. I can provide some service records per buyer’s request. I will be glad to provide any more photos per request. This car is sold “AS IS.” This is an old, very used car that still have some life left in it. I don’t know how much but it is durable and even after sitting in my yard for two months, it cranked on the first turn, like a top (besides the squeaking belt). The car had no leaks as of when I parked it. I don’t think a car would magically spring a leak if it hasn’t been in use but I don’t know. I’m not a car expert. However, all things being subject to the laws of the universe, I cannot guarantee it does not leak a drop of fluid at some point.
