This is a very nice 1971 BMW R60/5 vintage motorcycle. It starts, runs, and rides great. Never wrecked or down. No dents in tank and good solid fenders without cracks. Paint is very nice but was not pinstriped. Rear tire is new as is the battery and the front tire has about 75% tread. Seat has been recovered and is very nice. All lights work: tail and head lights, brake light, and turning signals. The warning lights for charging, oil pressure, and neutral all work. The speedometer, odometer, and tack all work fine ( Not sure about the listed mileage, my guess is that the speedo was replaced or rebuilt at some point and thus the very low mileage, but who knows since it certainly doesn't seem to be a high mileage bike). Horn works. Brakes work great. Mufflers are straight and shinny, and the side stand and center stand work fine. As you can see from pictures it has the large gas tank. It comes with original tool tray and manual. Also has a set of tools which may or may not be original to the bike. I have had this bike about a year but it has not been ridden much and it set for a while before I got it. Probably could use a carb cleaning and plug change. It will cruse at 65 - 70 mph and it is supposed to run 102 mph (but I haven't checked the top speed out!) I really like this bike but am 75 and guess I need to stick to 4 wheels. I don't know of anything this bike needs except a good cleaning and polishing and perhaps a tune up since it has done a lot of setting last couple of years. I have a low reserve on the bike.
