The 997.1 GT3 RS has quickly become the standard for true driver’s car and has been claimed to be one of the best track inspired cars Porsche has ever made. This numbers matching 2007 GT3RS in stunning condition inside and out. If you are in the market for a GT3RS this car should be on your list to consider since it remains unmodified and in pristine condition. It just turned over 17,000 miles and was recently serviced by Santa Barbara Porsche. I purchased the car from a close friend when it was a CPO car so you know it was in top condition and never wrecked. Through the history of the car since my friend and I have owned it, it has never been tracked nor modified other than the installation of a satellite stereo (in the factory radio), an Escort 8500ci radar/laser detection system with jammers and a battery tender. It comes with all manuals and original window sticker listed for over $138,000 when new and comes very well optioned. It just had a new clear bra installed since the old one was yellowing. We’ve set the reserve low and PPIs are welcomed, at buyers expense prior to auction end. Vehicle inspections are available by appointment. Here are the highlights to many of the questions we've been asked: - It was two overrevs at speed range 4 that happened at 74.9 hours of operation. The car currently has 490.4 hours on the car. There was nothing beyond speed range 4. - It appears the paint on the drivers side rear was touched up at some point since the paint thickness measure 11 mil. There is no record of any accidents and the car was a CPO car so we assume it was a minor scratch. - The tires are Michelin Sport Cups. The start at 4mm - 5mm new. Both front and rears are at 2mm-3mm - The brake pads are at 30-40% on the front and 50% on the rears. Rotors checked out OK - The front rubber chin spoiler has some scrapes. The brake pads are 30% to 40% worn not material left. These are Carbon Ceramic Brakes so they wear very slowly. The commentary from the service tech was the car was in overall excellent condition and clearly not like many GT3's they've seen that have been beat to death on the track.
