We owned this for about 12 years, bought in California and has been back and forth from Arkansas many times but our interest have changed with age and its time to move on. This is a special Vanagon and over the years many modifications has taken place, old motor is gone and replaced with a JDM WRX 240HP+ turbo Subaru motor (Vanaru), has cruise control, power steering and AC, I have personally done all the modifications. Uses a small car adapter bell housing and their heavy duty clutch. Has custom built front and rear bumpers (heavy duty) and has had the van front and rockers rhino lined, the paint is original on the van. All the shocks have been replaced and has air overload on rear for pulling a trailer. All the brakes and components have been changed including wheel bearings on the front. All the interior has been replaced with leather, plus new carpets and curtains over the years. Has twin batteries with 110V inverter, LP gas heater, stove and great sounding stereo. Pop up camper is in good shape although the handles that pull it down have cracks in the plastic. Blower motor has been replaced in the dash and has rear heater option. The old refrigerator has been removed and the space is used for storage. Has granite countertop (thin slab 1/4" thick) with undermount sink, laser etched granite door where refrigerator was. Van as 17 inch wheels and cruises at 70 at 3k rpm, wheels and tires have about 8000 miles on them and in great shape. I have been told you can't register this in CA, it is titled in Arkansas but is now in California at our second home. Motor uses electromotive TEC2 programmable EFI with distribuless ignition has MSD DIS 4 with individual coils per cylinder.
