Vehicle Detail
Like I said in the vehicle description. This is a very fun car to drive. Engine and transmission both run great. Shifter is smooth and tight. Its great as a daily driver and off roader. It has new suspension in the rear and tires are about 50%. This Land Cruiser was used in western Afghanistan by the Belgian Army and NATO for Humanitarian Aid purposes. It was originally a mint green with blue UN markings everywhere. It was painted black after it was decommissioned. I was in southern Afghanistan the same time this was in western Afghanistan which makes this vehicle more special for me. All the gauges work. The heat works, but the AC needs to be refilled. Unfortunately the radio was stolen out of it during shipment here to the States. I originally wanted to turn it into a modern day off-roader/trail truck to take camping, and trail riding with. Even had plans to take it to Moab, Utah. Plans change, however, the wife and I just found out we are having another child so this is one of my toys that has been put up on the chopping block. Now for the list of issues: It has a cracked windshield. The seal that goes from the engine block to the exhaust header needs to be replaced. Like I said before the AC doesn't work and the radio is gone. It does have a few rust issues. I'll include pictures. the left rear quarter panel that wraps around the back has a small hole that rusted through just behind the rear bumper. the seats in the front are different from each other. When used in AFG, they used jump seats that fit better around the drivers body armor. When they replaced those jump seats, they just threw in whatever they had in storage. Not a big deal, seat covers can fix that, but its just something to be aware of. Its a 30 year old truck. Numbers: The mileage is read in Kilometers and its at about 270000 miles after converting it. The Land Cruiser BJ70 was never built for the US market so the VIN doesn't work up top so I'm adding it down here. Exact kilometers on it is 396335. VIN is JT1V0BJ7009000627. Best of luck to all bidders! I cant wait to see who gets to give this thing a new home. *This was previously listed, a buyer and I reached an agreement of price, then they later backed out so it is being relisted with a lower buy it now and reserve.
