Up for bid is a 1986 Olds Cutlass Ciera Cruiser 3 seat wagon with 133k one owner miles. Zero rust - never lived in road salt territory - super solid undercarriage, too. Loaded up with power everything. Very nice lower mile interior. Powered by GMs 2.8L V6 with great reputation for longevity, and 4 speed automatic transmission - plenty of power for a 3200 lb car. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all six cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Newer battery & good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. EXTERIOR:Body: Body is in very nice shape with no notable damage beyond a stray door ding. Above average body. Paint: Paint is nice and shiny everywhere with a few normal-wear scratches/chips as expected of age. Way above average for 29 years old - nicer than many 10 year old cars. Other: Woodgrain is all very nice except for some peeling around gas door as seen in pics. Windshield and all glass in good shape with no cracks or chips. Undercarriage is beautiful southern solid - see the pics. Underhood is nice. Hubcaps are in good shape with no curb rash. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in very nice shape as youd expect of the low miles. The only complaint is some wear on the drivers floormat, which did its job as the carpet beneath is not worn, and some cracking on the plastic steering wheel. Dash has no cracks, cloth seating areas are in great shape, cargo deck carpet in good shape with a couple small stains, third seat like new, door panels are nice with no cracks or fading. Carpets are in nice shape with no major wear or stains. ON-OFF-RES lettering on multi-function stalk still clearly visible. No smoke or pet odors. Above average interior. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) Except the drivers door power lock, which moves but doesnt fully lock or unlock with the power lock button, all the rest of the power options work including power windows, remaining power locks, hot heat and cold A/C converted to 134a, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo cassette, power antenna, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out nicely. Steering is tight, alignment is good, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 90% tread remaining on a matched set of GoodYear whitewall radials. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.)
