Up for sale is one of those once in a lifetime cars - this 1967 MUSTANG was purchased from the ORIGINAL “Grandma” OWNER. Good looking and great running condition with very nice original interior. 48,500 original miles. 6-cylinder engine with 3 speed automatic transmission which has been rebuilt and shifts smooth. Originally no PS but I added a complete correct factory setup to make it a dream to steer. Car holds the road and handles great with good steering response. Equipped with 4 wheel drum brakes - not power brakes. Optional turn signals light mounted in the hood. Clean inside and out. Everything works and is drivable anywhere. The horns sound just like they should! The car was repainted in the correct original Acapulco Blue some time ago and has more metallic flake than what the factory did – still shows well but has some road chips. All body panels line up as they should. Doors, hood and trunk all open and shut with ease and a solid click. The interior on the car is original and the seat covers are excellent. The dash pad is crack free, headliner flawless, the seat slides work perfectly. The original carpet is in great condition but it is age faded. The handles and cranks have some slight age pitting. The hoses and clamps have been renewed, new water pump, new carburetor (Pony Carbs) along with a correct single exhaust system. Every window goes up and down effortlessly, locks work, every gauge and electrical item works, all mechanical items are great, no leaks under the car whatsoever, it sits properly, and accelerates as it should with the 6 cylinder and 1 barrel carb! THE FRONT FRAMES AND TORQUE BOXES ARE SOLID… THE TRUNK FLOORS AND FRAME RAILS ARE SOLID TOO AS YOU CAN SEE. The floors and bottom side of this Mustang are clean with no signs of having been tampered with. The only weak point is right behind the rear wheels in that lower corner where water typically sits and eventually wears thru – see pictures.
