A 1996 Chevy Impala SS. I am relisting the car with a buy it now price because the previous two buyers changed there mind without even coming to see it and I want to move it. The first buyer was from Florida did not want to haul it that far and the second buyer was from Mississippi and said her kid was playing on the computer and bid on it. Please know what you are bidding on and be ready to follow though if you are a buyer. It cost time and money to relist. If you are serious about buying feel free to come and inspect the car before using the buy it now. The car is in New Jersey and will have to be towed at the buyers expense. It has 75,896 miles and comes with a clean Carfax and NJ. title. It spent it life in Maryland and North Carolina and the body is solid. It does have a small dent on the left front fender. The paint is not as good as it looks in the pictures and has some light scratches and clear coat problems. It would benefit from a paint job but could be used the way it looks. It was sitting in storage when I bought it and ran with an engine knock. It was running when I loaded it on my trailer to bring it home. I was moving it out of my garage when it stalled and would not restart. I found out the fuel pump went bad. I replaced the fuel pump and sender along with the wire harness and got good fuel pressure it cranks over but it still does not want to run. The engine will have to be rebuilt or replaced anyway so I did not investigate any further. The interior is clean with new carpets. The power seats and windows all work. The leather is in good condition. If you have the time to do some work on this car "which I don't" you can have a nice collector car that seems to be going up every year in price. The 96 impalas with the floor shifters are the last of high performance big body Chevrolets. It is a nineteen year old car and is sold as is with all its flaws.
