Keep the car or get rid of the old lady. Lawyer said it's cheaper to get rid of the car. 1972 Chevelle Malibu. 250 straight 6. With two speed powerglide trans. It runs. It drives. Lights work. Signals work. wipers work. Drum brakes all around, push hard it stops. windows are all good, doors are in good shape windows go up and down, locks work, handles work for you younger kids you have to use physical labor to make windows go up and down. I know it sucks but we had to walk uphill to school both ways NO busses. I said it drives but its not road worthy yet. It needs work. Has some shitty body work. The trunk and gas tank supports need replaced as well as the trunk sheet metal. I would replace the bottom of the rear quarter panels. Front quarter panels need repaired or replaced. The bumpers are ok the front is losing its crome. Interior needs some love, I did buy new sound deadening, and carpet. floor pans have some metal patching not too bad of shape.
