Vehicle Detail
Condition: used and may need work depending on you want it, daily driver or a show truck. If a show truck, this is a great start for a father/son project. Features: it's an old original truck but still pretty. History: It's been in Arizona for many years. Local pick up only, the buyer makes arrangements. I recommend a flatbed trailer to transportation. Payment due through paypal. I will require a $500 deposit (non-refundable). You can pay the full amount via paypal or have CASH at time of pick up. No CASH, no truck and title. This will be an auction and I do not need any help selling it, no solicitations or trades. On May-16-15 at 10:36:18 PDT, seller added the following information: Based on the VIN number it appears as though this truck has a 239 V8. I'm sorry if this has caused any inconvenience. Thank you.On May-16-15 at 16:33:26 PDT, seller added the following information: Several questions asked however Ebay is not including the Q&As in the listing. So I will add notes as they come in. 1. Q: Do you have a buy in now price? A: I have no "Buy it now price" because I'm not sure what it is truly worth. I'm letting the market set the price. 2. Q: What are the wheel and tires sizes? A: Fronts are P225/70R15 and Rears are P275/60R15. The rear tires are wider than the fronts. Also, this truck had the front dropped via the front axle dropped above the leaf spring. I hope you all know what I'm talking about. On May-17-15 at 13:49:09 PDT, seller added the following information: 3. Q: Is the cracking on the hood a crack in the metal or from bondo. A: I checked the hood surface and underside and found minor bodywork was completed in the front and two other surfaces. No penetrations through the steel (screws for pullers). Looks like hammering from underneath. The underside painting covers most of the hammering. 4. Q: condition of cab corners for rust. A: minor surface rust only. I ran a magnet at the corners and it stuck throughout. No visible body work or filler. corners look great although like most trucks it does show minor surface rust. The major rust is at the bottom of the tailgate, although just surface, it has made it to the surface steel but no holes or permanent damage to the steel, easy to repair. I took several photos of the underside. Just send me a question and I will forward what I have. Folks, I consider myself to be an honest man, I'm doing my best to be up front so that you are happy with the purchase. As for me, I have no choice but to be happy with my happy wife and most of you know what I mean!On May-17-15 at 15:56:18 PDT, seller added the following information: 5. Q: Does engine show any leaks or smoking, burning oil? A: I do not see any signs of leaks, oil or coolant. The engine is older but runs fairly well. It does smoke slightly at start, not sure if normal, but it does go away. The carburetor was just rebuilt and set at this altitude by the mechanic. It may be running lean because it idles at lower rpm. Please keep it mind that in the '94 restoration I'm not sure what they did. The engine looks pretty clean so I will assume that it was rebuilt back then. I hope this helps everyone.
