You are bidding on a 1979 Chevy El Camino with No Reserve Auction The power train on this year wheel drive sedan consists of a V8 engine coupled to an automatic transmission. This 1979 Chevrolet El Camino drives and handles well. There is no hesitation from the engine under power and when the brakes are applied firmly, the vehicle stops in a straight line. There are no unusual noises or smoke coming from engine. The exterior finish will need work (see photos). A/C, cruise control, oil and temp gauge does not work. Interior in good shape, has bucket seats and center console, has brand new steering wheel, rear speakers and enclosures, new radio is included but not installed (see pictures). The speedometer has been replaced do to the old one braking (new gauge reads ?? miles) When I purchased the vehicle the miles read 43,468 and I have only drove it 18 miles. I have the old speedometer if you want it (just let me know). Because of age of vehicle and a 5 digit odometer I can't verify the reading of miles to be accurate or correct. Has new radiator, spark plugs, oil change, valve cover gaskets, KYB front and rear shocks, sway bar bushings and links. Frame has been repainted and underbody has been undercoated. Also, has new left and right door weather stripping and door window weather stripping. And new left and right headlight bezels. Before placing a bid please read the descriptions thoroughly and view all pictures. Got this vehicle as a project for my nephew and I but he decided he wasn't interested. My loss your gain.
