Vehicle Detail

For sale is a beautiful example of a first generation Plymouth Barracuda. This 1966 Cuda spent it's life in Nevada only recently making its way here to Utah. The car is currently running and driving, but has not actually been driven on the road for at least 12 years. This Barracuda was well optioned from the factory with a 273 c.i. V8, automatic transmission, center console, black interior with bucket seats, air conditioning, fender mounted turn signals, front and rear bumper guards, and front and rear sway bars. Before parking it in his garage 12 years ago, the previous owner replaced the transmission, fuel tank, shocks, brake shoes, alternator, carpet, as well as rewiring the entire car with an E-Z Wiring Harness kit. Since i purchased the car, I have replaced the battery and added fresh gas, I have not tried to drive it on the street as it is not registered or insured. It starts and runs excellent, however the transmission seemed to slip a little when I was loading it on the trailer. I'm not sure if this is just due to being in storage for so long or if it just needs to be driven around a little. The car is 99% complete. In its current condition this would make an excellent cruiser or daily driver after checking things over. The car would also make an excellent candidate for a restoration. There is absolutely zero rust anywhere on the car that I can find. This includes the floor boards, rockers, quarter panels, trunk floor, or any where else. All of the chrome trim is there and in excellent condition. The glass is all in good condition. Now for the bad. The car is missing the radio, the ash tray in the dash, the cargo area carpet, and a fender emblem on both fenders. The door panels and all seat covers have damage. Some of the guages don't work. None of the hvac stuff seems to work. All of the exterior lights work correctly as they should. As the pictures show, this is an excellent example of a hard to find classic. I have tried to be as honest and accurate as possible in my description, but please understand that this car is nearly 50 years old. The fender tag is missing. I have a clean and clear title for the car. If you have any questions or would like additional pictures of anything else, please feel free to call me. Tyler 8zero1-44zero-473zero. This car is being sold with no reserve, it will go to the highest bidder. You are bidding to buy, not for the option to buy. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due at the end of the auction. The buyer is responsible to arrange and pay for shipping. If you have no feedback, please call me before bidding. It does not smoke at all upon start up and does not leak any fluid. On May-17-15 at 00:09:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Yes, the car does have power steering and a 4 barrel carburetor.
