Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 2006 Porsche Cayman S with Tiptronic Transmission. My wife and I have enjoyed this car for going on 6 years. I recently purchased another Porsche so I have to let this one go. This is a mid-engine car so the handling is similar to driving a go-cart! Like a go-cart, you press on the throttle and hang on! The car was stock when I purchased it (I still have all the stock equipment, if you want it). I have done some “upgrades” to this car over the years including: -Fabspeed Maxflow Exhaust (Sounds mean!) -IDP Competition 82mm Plenium and Throttle Body -Evolution EVOMS 987 V-Flow Intake/air filter -APR ECU Flash -BBI Under drive pulley -H&R Lowering Springs -NR Cayman R Front Splitters and Rear Wing -Black Annodized screens over front radiators and also in the rear covering the opening behind the exhaust (looks amazing). -GT3 “Smile Grill” installed in front bumper. -GT3 front brake cooling ducts -Most Interior Lights have LED bulbs as does the front parking lights and licence plate light. -5mm wheel spacers all around. -Magnetic Bigfoot Oil Drain Plug-Stainless steel brake lines-Clear Side Markers The car will also come with a custom made indoor cover and a 3 inch binder with every maintenance receipt since I have had the car. The car was purchased from Checkered Flag Porsche in Virginia Beach, Va. Since I have had the car, I have done most of the routine maintenance myself like oil changes, brake bleeds, etc. Coolant flushes I still leave to the experts. Oil changes are a breeze! The car is in great shape mechanically. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country tomorrow. The paint is in “good” condition. Porsches are notorious for road rash and pitted windshields. This car has some of that as does the one I just purchased! If you are not a Porsche owner, I will tell you that one of the main reasons we continue to own a Porsche is our club First Settler's Region. The club has many social events and they go to the track (VIR) at least two times a year for Driver's Education. Here you can get your car on the track with an instructor and really learn what your car is capable of. This car has been on the track twice. My wife took it once as did I. It is very educational and a BLAST and can be highly additive!! On the social side, we have several big events during the year, meet for breakfast once a month and raise thousands of dollars for charity. The reason I say this is that if you buy a Porsche, I would highly recommend joining a club. The members have tons of knowledge about the cars and can tell you where the best mechanics, etc. are.
